The Ghomeshi Effect is a documentary dance-theatre performance that tackles sexual violence in Canada, particularly how it is handled in the legal system, through an edited series of documented interviews, and uses dance to inform and interrogate the language used in the discussion of sexual violence.

Originally produced in Ottawa in 2017 (Ottawa International Women's Day 2017 'Femmy Award for Media'), the production is currently on a multi-city tour across Ontario and Alberta.

Presented by Central Alberta Sexual Assault Support Centre (CASASC), the performance on Friday, November 9, 2018 begins at 7:30pm, followed by a talkback with the artists and members of the community.
